My word. This has taken me by surprise, to say the least. It seems to me that finding pre-launch demos of any game is nigh impossible. At least, that’s my experience, as demos never seem to crop up on XBL until after a major release. But I digress.
The point of this tiny, stubby, baby-sized article; is to announce that Bioware, creators of the much beloved Mass Effect series, have announced that a pre-launch demo of the upcoming Mass Effect 3 will be released, though they haven’t said when. Don’t believe me? See for yourself.
I will be watching for further news of this with interest, as being able to get a hands on look at the game prior to placing a pre-order would be most pleasing. But what, exactly, will the demo be? A look at the single player campaign? The multiplayer (please god, no)? Some sort of mix of the both? How long will it be? What platforms will it be released on? WE MUST KNOW, BIOWARE! Oh well, just have to wait I suppose.
Mass Effect 3 is slated for a March 6th release on PC, 360 and PS3.
